In this issue of the JAMM there will be a special section of The Splooge (non-magic content) where I discus ways I lied to my friend's kids recently when I was forced to babysit for them. I think there's probably a parenting rule that says you should never lie to your kids. But I'm not these kid's parent, so screw that rule.
